Opportunities for Volunteers

There are opportunities to participate in volunteer work in Putnam County for singers, musicians, and non-singers alike. You are welcome to explore the list of opportunities below which we need to fill related to the Putnam Chorale.

If you would like to try an opportunity out for one season, that is acceptable. All candidates and their project plans (formal or informal) would need to be approved by the Putnam Chorale Board of Directors. In exchange for volunteer services provided, we will give you two free tickets to the concert, and your own admission, of course, will be free.

Fundraising Coordinator - If you are a person who is experienced in, or creative at, coming up with ideas and methods of fundraising, and can help find additional grants we can apply for, we definitely need you! The Putnam Chorale is a nonprofit organization and the more funds we can generate the more we can enhance the quality of our performances and outreach to the community. There is some fundraising education available to us which we can take advantage of (at no cost to you) if you have the time to spend attending the sessions. We have a willing group of members, but need a leader in this realm. To apply, click here to e-mail us

Chorale Photographer - From time to time we need photographs of the chorale in action for: the newspaper, articles, thank you's, and our website. This will include photographs of our performances, community events and special chorale-only events. This does not involve a lengthy time commitment at each event, but if you have a keen eye for good pictures, it may give you a chance to see your handiwork used in the community.
